The first irruption took place on Good Friday, 2nd April, and the second on Sunday 4th April.
No information online could be found about any beginning of evidence supporting the allegation of an ‘illegal’ gathering on Good Friday, while many denounce the disproportionate action, profanation of a sacred place or an abuse of authority.
We couldn’t find any comment on this incident from the Mayor of London, the MET or any member of the Government. Please update us shall we have missed something.
What would happen had certain individuals acting on behalf of the MET profaned a Muslim or Jewish sacred place/service? No religion deserves such treatment. Even if they believed being right, there are ways and manners of doing such things, and these people obviously didn’t bother at all about the place and the moment, with the question pending whether behaving this way was done on purpose.
An occasion to demonstrate role-modelling, respect for others/nobility and professional handling of a sensible situation was sadly missed.
